Shipping Policy

Holy Thread uses the service of the reputed courier service provider to provide shipping in almost all parts of India (depending on the courier vendor confirmation). We strive to ensure the on-time delivery of Domestic orders.

ESTIMATED TIME OF DELIVERY

holythread tries its best to deliver the product to you as soon as possible. On average, it takes about 7-10 days to deliver your product to your doorstep but for customised order it can be exceeded upto 20days. There might be a delay in the deliveries sometimes due to:

  • Flight Delays
  • Bad Weather
  • Political Disruption
  • Any other Unforeseen Situations


In such cases, our customer support team will get in touch with you and inform you via email.  We will not be able to compensate for any mental agony caused by the delay in the delivery. Also, the customer can cancel the order at any moment of time even if the delivery time exceeds the expected time of delivery. For all the prepaid orders, the customer will get their refund in their bank accounts as the orders get successfully cancelled.

Items are only delivered on business days. Apart from Sundays, there are certain holidays throughout the year that are not considered business days. Deliveries will not happen on these days.

FREE DELIVERY & CASH ON DELIVERY

An order that is above Rs. 1699 then only you would be eligible for free shipping. Else, Rs.200 will be levied as Shipping charges.

Cash on Delivery or COD is also available for orders that are above Rs, 999 and upto 9000 value only.

Every HolyThread piece is handcrafted by artisans from different corners of India - Banarasi weaves, Chikankari, Kota Doria, Ajrakh, Leheriya, and more. We blend traditional craft with conventional comfort so it’s authentic but easy to wear for women today.

2. Are your products handloom / handmade?
Yes. Our sarees and unstitched suit materials are handwoven or hand block printed by skilled artisans. You’ll see the beauty of heritage crafts in every detail - no machine-made bulk production.

3. What fabrics do you use for unstitched suits?
From breathable Linen, cottons and kota doria for daily wear to regal silks, chanderi, organza, tissue and georgette for weddings. Each product page lists exact fabric, so you can choose what suits your comfort + occasion.

4. Do you sell ready-made/stitched suits?
We specialize in unstitched suits for women to give you freedom to tailor your dream attire. This lets you customize fit, style, and blouse design. We don’t offer stitching yet, but we share stitching guides.

5. How do I identify real Banarasi or Chikankari on your site?
Check product descriptions - we call out “Handloom Banarasi” or “Authentic Lucknowi Chikankari”. We never compromise on quality and work directly with weaving clusters in Varanasi, Lucknow, etc.

6. How do I choose the right unstitched suit material size?
All unstitched suits come with standard fabric lengths: ∼2.5m kurta, ∼2.5m bottom, ∼2.25m dupatta. This fits most sizes up to 3XL after stitching. Check “Product Details” on each page.

7. Do you have a size chart for sarees?
Sarees are 5.5m standard + 0.8m-1m blouse piece. Blouse can be stitched to your size. For height/petticoat guidance, see our “Saree Draping Guide” blog.

8. Can I request a specific color or work customization?
We do color dyeing  and embroidery  customisation for some of fabrics on demand . our collection covers “vibrant hues to sublime pastels”. Shipping & Delivery FAQs

9. How long does delivery take?
We dispatch orders within 5-6 business days. overall includind shipment and deliver time coversa10 working days depending on your location in India. You’ll get tracking info by email/SMS once shipped. (some specific section comes under a dispatch timeline of 12-15 days the detils information is availble with those perticular products on product discription section 

10. Do you ship internationally?
Yes. HolyThread ships globally, including USA, Canada, UK, UAE. International delivery takes 15-20 business days. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on country.

12. What is your return/exchange policy?
If your order doesn’t match specifications or has quality issues, email holythread.mail@gmail.com with order number, photos of the issue, and summary within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll arrange exchange. 

13. Do you accept returns if I just don’t like it?
Due to the handcrafted nature, we only accept returns/exchanges for damaged or incorrect items. We recommend checking fabric details, colors, and reading reviews before ordering.

20-How should I wash and store my Banarasi, Chikankari, or silk products?
Dry clean only for Banarasi, Katan Silk, Chikankari, and Zari work to keep the sheen intact. For cotton, kota doria, and ajrakh: gentle hand wash separately, dry in shade. Always store sarees folded with muslin cloth + neem leaves to avoid moisture. We include a care card in every parcel.
